Last week, we were deeply moved by Fiadh’s story and decided we had to help in any way we could. With Fiadh’s strong ties to Sydney, we rallied together to walk the length of Ireland—and guess what? We did it twice over, with a bit to spare! The community spirit and support were truly heartwarming.

About Fiadh and the Cause

Fiadh is a bright and loving 5-year-old from Kerry, diagnosed with Stage 4 High-Risk Neuroblastoma in October 2023. Despite facing intense treatment—including chemotherapy, surgery, and a stem cell transplant—she continues to fight with incredible strength. Now, she needs life-changing maintenance treatment in the US to reduce the risk of relapse and give her the best chance at a cancer-free future.

The funds we raise will support her crucial maintenance therapy in the U.S., reducing the risk of relapse, with any excess going to Aoibheann’s Pink Tie, Barretstown and Neuroblastoma UK (fighting children’s cancer).

Walk Highlights

The ‘Walk the Length of Ireland for Fiadh‘ was an unforgettable morning filled with community spirit and support. The Irish community turned out in numbers, showing once again that when one of our own is in need, we come together.

The sense of community was truly heartwarming. Even though Fiadh was half a world away, she was the reason so many people were on their feet at sunrise, and that feeling of solidarity was unmistakable.
